Luxman SQ-N150 is a tube integrated amplifier included in the NeoClassica lineup, the technology of which is made in the classic design of this company. The device is made on the basis of the famous SQ-5A model, which at one time became one of the first high-quality stereo amplifiers.

Luxman SQ-N150 has a chic retro design, which is given additional chic by dial signal level indicators on the front panel. The tubes in the amplifier are covered with a removable mechanical casing. EL84 tubes are installed in the output stages of the amplifier. Combined with a high-quality wideband transformer, they provide an output power of 10 W per channel into a 6 ohm load impedance. EL84 tubes are characterized by fast and transparent sound, which is great for listening to music of all genres. The preamp stage of the Luxman SQ-N150 uses ECC83 tubes (one per channel).

The device is equipped with proprietary tone controls that allow you to fine-tune the sound character of various musical compositions. The possibility of such adjustment can be useful, for example, when listening to pop music, the recordings of which sometimes have an excessive level of high frequencies. If desired, the tone control circuit can be disabled, allowing direct signal transmission. The volume control is electrically driven and the amplifier is equipped with a convenient remote control.

The Luxman SQ-N150 amplifier is equipped with three line inputs, as well as a phono input for vinyl players. The device also has a high-quality built-in amplifier for connecting headphones.

The output tubes in the amplifier operate in auto-bias mode, so replacing them does not cause any difficulties. With a relatively small size, Luxman SQ-N150 has an extremely reliable and durable design, which is ensured by thoughtful circuitry and selected components. When using modern sensitive acoustics, the Luxman SQ-N150 is capable of easily sounding a medium-sized room.
