The Triangle Lunar 1 is a hand-held turntable designed to play 33 and 45 rpm vinyl records.
It boasts excellent build quality and is assembled in Europe in partnership with Pro-ject Audio. Drive is via a flat belt, and playback is via a lightweight, low-friction aluminum tonearm, specially optimized for the Ortofon OM-5E cartridge. With its signature Triangle aesthetic, the turntable is a perfect match for the brand’s various speaker lines. The Lunar 1 is supplied with an RCA phono cable with HP-OFC copper conductors and gold-plated connectors.
Lunar 1 has a high-density fiberboard (25 kg/m3) base and an ABS polymer top. These materials absorb vibrations and prevent unwanted resonance, ensuring a clear sound.
Mounted at the end of the Triangle Lunar 1’s aluminum arm is an Ortofon OM-5E cartridge with an elliptical diamond profile. The elliptical diamond profile typically allows for increased detail and better high-frequency definition.
A switch on the side of the turntable allows you to quickly and easily select the rotation speed between 33 and 45 rpm.
The supplied phono cable has HP-OFC copper conductors and gold-plated RCA connectors, providing increased conductivity and resistance to corrosion and oxidation.
