The PMC company presents an upgrade service for the original fact.8 and fact.12 speaker systems to the Signature version . This upgrade involves replacing the original fact series crossovers with modernized Signature crossovers developed by PMC as a result of research conducted during the creation of the flagship fact fenestria series.
The fact Signature series speaker systems were first presented in 2019 at the High End Show in Munich. When developing the top-of-the-line fact fenestria series, PMC engineers conducted extensive research into the effect of vibration on sound quality. In particular, the analysis of vibration and its effect on sensitive components in crossover circuits led to fact fenestria installing the best British-made capacitors and non-inductive German resistors designed to eliminate internal micro-vibrations that have a negative effect on the sound. This technology has been used in the Fact Signature Series, resulting in new crossovers that feature the same key hand-selected components found in the top-of-the-line loudspeaker series, with each element carefully positioned to minimize unwanted influences.
Owners of existing PMC fact.8 and fact.12 models will be able to upgrade to the Signature edition from their local PMC retailer. Upgrading the PMC fact.8 and fact.12 speakers to the Signature version will cost 2,2695 euros for the fact .8 model and 4,795 euros for the fact .12 .
