The Gold Note A6 EVO II floorstanders can indeed be called sophisticated: in cross section their size is only 230 x 285 mm.

True, the massive wooden base goes far beyond these dimensions. The ultra-rigid design features two diamond-shaped side panels with aluminum inserts that the manufacturer claims improves power management.

The 1″ Audax silk dome tweeter is specially tuned for the character of the midrange. Thanks to the rigid aluminum flange, it is claimed to support ultra-clear and powerful high frequencies. A pair of 5″ SEAS woofers made of treated paper boast massive magnets. And finally, a 6-inch SEAS subwoofer with a woven polypropylene cone. It is housed in a custom sealed die-cast metal case. The downward-firing speaker is matched with the stand.

Overall, the design delivers a claimed frequency response of 40Hz-20kHz ±3dB and a sensitivity of 88dB SPL 2.83V/1m. The Gold Note A6 EVOII has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Crossover switching – at 60 Hz and 2000 Hz at a slope of 12 dB / oct. Crossover components are manufactured exclusively by Mundorf and Clarity.

The loudspeaker is mounted on a solid wooden stand with a bottom bass reflex port. The manufacturer believes that there were no compromises in the design, and only the highest quality parts were chosen.
