The new Dynaudio Xeo 10 model replaces the popular Xeo 2 and, despite a certain external similarity, differs from it quite significantly. However, there are certain differences in appearance – there are no visible fastening elements on the front panel now, the speakers are mounted on a cast aluminum panel on the back side.

The Dynaudio Xeo 10 is made in compact damped MDF cases, and thanks to the high-quality external finish, it is perfect for placement in the interior. The design of the new speaker has become even more attractive, with a new aluminum front panel with a rough finish. The external coating of the Dynaudio Xeo 10 is available in matte black (with a black front panel and protective grille) or matte white (with a gray panel and grille).

The speaker is equipped with a new 140 mm woofer with an MSP diffuser and a 28 mm soft dome tweeter. Each emitter is connected to its own amplifier with a power of 65 watts. This solution provides the ability to fine-tune the sound of the speaker, as well as reduce distortion.

The Dynaudio Xeo 10 uses a new algorithm for the overload protection system (limiter), which ensures high-quality sound even at high volume. In addition, the crossover point, which is performed by the DSP, is chosen high here to obtain a more transparent and consistent sound outside the speaker’s acoustic axis.

The Dynaudio Xeo 10 uses a touch controller to control the volume, and it has a circuit for optimizing the sound character depending on the type of speaker placement (near a wall, in a corner, in free space).

To connect signal sources to the Dynaudio Xeo 10, you can use the analog mini-jack 3.5 mm or digital Toslink input, as well as Bluetooth. Like all models in the Xeo series, this speaker can be used in a proprietary wireless system, the signal transmission in which is carried out with the parameters of 24 bit / 96 kHz. To do this, you will need an additional  Dynaudio Connect Wi-Fi transmitter , which will become a bridge between the speakers and signal sources, and will also allow you to play music from network drives using the DLNA protocol.
