Bluesound has released a wireless multi-room speaker with support for high-resolution files and MQA audio format.
The new Bluesound Pulse M loudspeaker features a built-in 80W smart DSP amplifier. The speakers are installed according to the Omni-Hybrid scheme: a 5.25-inch woofer is directed upwards, two 19-mm tweeters emit sound waves at an angle of 45 degrees. An “acoustic reflector” mounted above the woofer dissipates unwanted sound artifacts and provides a 360-degree soundstage.
The speaker is quite small, only 20 cm high; there is a place for it in any small apartment. Customers can optionally purchase a wall mount or stand to mount the speaker on the floor.
Bluesound Pulse M supports over 20 music services; control is via the BluOS Controller mobile app or touch controls, as well as voice (Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant). Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, aptX HD Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 connections are supported. The grill is made of acoustically transparent fabric. Finish options: white or black.
Two Bluesound Pulse M speakers can be combined into a stereo pair. You can use these speakers as surround back channels with the Dolby Atmos-enabled Bluesound Pulse Soundbar+. Add the signature Pulse Sub+ subwoofer and Powernode streaming amplifier and you have a complete wireless surround sound system.
