Danish Bang & Olufsen has launched the Beosound Premiere, a striking soundbar that offers an artfully crafted three-dimensional sound experience within a striking three-dimensional silhouette, designed to be the center of attention. This bold and artful soundbar, meticulously designed for exceptional sound quality, showcases Bang & Olufsen’s new patent-pending Wide Stage Technology.

Bang & Olufsen Premiere: the art of aluminum
Crafted from pure aluminum, the Beosound Premiere was meticulously designed in close collaboration between Bang & Olufsen’s design team and the world-renowned experts at Factory 5 in Struer, Denmark. Unlike conventional soundbars, the Beosound Premiere is a striking, three-dimensional work of art that reflects the three-dimensional sound it produces. Rather than hiding the speaker drivers, they are emphasized, exemplifying Bang & Olufsen’s philosophy: design from the inside out.
The seamless aluminum frame is bead-blasted for a matte satin finish. Achieving this compact form required precision engineering. Extruded aluminum was combined with custom-made end caps to maintain a clean profile while still accommodating ten powerful drivers.
One of the most striking features is the upward-firing tweeter, positioned at the very center of the soundbar and designed to stand out like a jewel through its turned aluminum. Hidden design details on the upward-firing driver include 1,925 precision-machined perforations, commemorating the year Bang & Olufsen was founded and paying tribute to a century of uncompromising craftsmanship.

Beosound Premiere delivers stunning spatial sound, allowing listeners to fully immerse themselves in movies and music. This is made possible by ten custom-designed drivers inside Beosound Premiere, including a dedicated upward-firing driver in the center for added height and dimension. Together, they allow sound to unfold from all angles around the listener. Deep inside, Beosound Premiere features an array with a custom-designed driver configuration that precisely controls sound directionality. This enhances dialogue clarity and delivers deep, powerful bass, making every scene feel more lifelike.
Bang & Olufsen’s new Wide Stage Technology was developed by its own experts. It uses signal processing specifically designed for Beosound Premiere to create the sensation of adding external speakers, making the soundstage appear wider and higher than it actually is. Thanks to this new technology, all ten drivers in Beosound Premiere work together to create a spacious, room-wide soundstage that delivers crystal-clear dialogue and breathtaking soundscapes for music and movies.
A true expression of refined innovation, Beosound Premiere seamlessly analyses its surroundings to deliver sound perfectly tailored to any room. Beosound Premiere can be used as a standalone system or as the centrepiece of a listener’s audio system, with the option of adding additional Bang & Olufsen speakers via Beolink Surround. A fully integrated Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround decoder adapts to the user’s system and supports seamless expansion, unlocking an even more powerful and immersive cinematic experience.

Beosound Premiere Haute Edition: even more exclusive with a limited edition of only 25 units
To mark this launch, Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier team has designed a special Haute Edition, limited to just 25 units worldwide. This edition emphasizes the soundbar’s artistic qualities with a precision-milled pattern that begins at the signature central slot and radiates outward, enveloping the entire form in flowing grooves that mirror the way sound travels in waves. These grooves catch the light, invite the touch, and convey a sense of energy, movement, and depth, enhancing the product’s sensory presence and visually telling the story of sound.
The pattern is created through a complex 17-hour milling process. A rotating blade carves fine grooves into the raw aluminum, making the sound it creates seem to resonate throughout the room, just as a sculptor carves a shape from stone. The result is a perfect blend of art and technology, making Beosound Premiere more than just a soundbar. It becomes an experience for the ears, eyes, and hands that truly lets you experience what sound is.
As proof of authenticity and craftsmanship, each piece is individually engraved with the number 1 of 25 and comes with a limited edition Beoremote One in a handmade wooden presentation box. A certificate of authenticity is also included.
Beosound Premiere: prices and delivery information
The Beosound Premiere has a suggested retail price of $4,900 and comes in Natural Aluminium (December 2025), Gold Tone (February 2026) and Black Anthracite (March 2026) versions. It comes with a handy stand that allows the soundbar to be hung on the wall or placed on a table.
While the Beosound Premiere is designed to showcase the speaker’s drivers, you can also choose interchangeable fabric covers in heather gray (MSRP $300) or wooden covers in oak and dark oak (MSRP $1,100), crafted from a single piece of wood. Each oak cover is partly precision-milled and partly handcrafted, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood and making each piece unique.
The Beosound Premiere in Natural Aluminum is available starting today at select Bang & Olufsen stores. You can also pre-order the soundbar in-store or at bang-olufsen.dk. Delivery is scheduled for December 3rd.
