Q Acoustics has launched the E60, an easy-to-install in-wall audio system designed to seamlessly integrate high-quality sound into any home, especially in damp rooms like a kitchen or bathroom. The E60 combines wireless Bluetooth connectivity with an elegant, minimalist design and is also easy to install, reducing installation time and complexity.
Q Acoustics E60
The E60 is a new entry-level model in Q Acoustics' range of easy-to-install audio systems. It joins the award-winning E120 in-wall Bluetooth and DAB radio system and the E300A , a smart, voice-activated ceiling amplifier. Inheriting design cues and functionality from the E120, the E60 sets a new standard for affordable, easy-to-install audio systems, both in terms of design and sound quality.
IP54 compliant, making it perfect for bathrooms and kitchens
The E60 is IP54 splashproof out of the box, so no additional silicone sealant is required. This makes it ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, garden sheds, and other damp environments. A screwless click-in system ensures quick installation and a sleek, seamless finish. The deep black and warm, yet bright white colors perfectly complement modern interiors. Subtle yet clear LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback without being obtrusive and dim automatically in low light to avoid disturbing users.
2 x 25 Watts at six Ohms
The integrated 2 x 25 Watt (at six ohms) power amplifier effortlessly drives up to two pairs of high-quality in-ceiling speakers, according to the manufacturer, delivering a controlled, balanced yet dynamic performance in a wide range of listening environments. The system is tuned and optimized for use with Q Acoustics' range of high-quality in-ceiling, flush-mount, and outdoor loudspeakers with easy installation, and is fully compatible with in-ceiling speakers from other manufacturers for maximum flexibility.
The E60 also offers a very practical mono mode, selectable via a simple switch. This allows both audio channels to be played through both speakers, making the system an extremely cost-effective solution for spaces like a combined bedroom and bathroom, where consistent sound coverage is more important than stereo imaging.
Wireless audio is handled via Bluetooth 5.0, which supports two-way control for volume, play/pause, and skipping tracks. This ensures that the connected device and the E60 work together seamlessly, delivering a smooth and intuitive user experience. For wired sources, an optical digital input allows for easy connection to a television or other external source, making the E60 equally suitable for playing music and enhancing TV sound.
