TANCHJIM is stepping into the full-size wireless arena with the new RITA, a pair of over-ear headphones built for daily listening at home, in the office, or on the move. Combining a lightweight, comfort-focused design with long battery life and high-bitrate Bluetooth support, the RITA aims to balance convenience with genuine hi-fi ambitions.

Beryllium-coated 40mm driver
At the heart of the RITA sits a 40mm dynamic driver with a PET diaphragm coated in beryllium. This type of coating is commonly used in higher-end headphone designs because of its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, which helps the diaphragm move with greater precision and reduced breakup at higher frequencies.
TANCHJIM has paired the driver with a dedicated rear acoustic chamber. The goal is to stabilize airflow behind the diaphragm, reduce distortion, and maintain a more controlled, consistent response across the frequency range. In practical terms, this should translate into cleaner mids, tighter bass, and a more stable stereo image.
Hybrid ANC with four-microphone array
The RITA uses a hybrid active noise cancellation system built around a dual-feedback architecture. Four microphones monitor both external noise and the sound inside the earcup, allowing the system to adapt in real time.

According to TANCHJIM, the system can reduce ambient noise by up to 47 dB, while keeping pressure on the ears to a minimum during long listening sessions. The closed-back design and rear acoustic chamber also contribute to passive isolation, so the headphones don’t rely solely on electronic noise reduction.
High-bitrate Bluetooth and app control
Wireless connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 6.0, with support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC. The latter enables high-bitrate wireless audio, making the RITA suitable for more critical listening when paired with compatible devices.
Through the TANCHJIM companion app, users can access EQ settings, DSP sound profiles, and other customization options. A standard 3.5mm input is also included, allowing the headphones to be used in wired mode when needed.
Built for comfort and long listening sessions
The RITA is designed with extended wear in mind. Soft synthetic leather earpads with dense foam aim to provide a comfortable seal, while the metal headband and multi-motion hinge are intended to improve durability and fit.
Battery performance is one of the headline features. TANCHJIM claims up to 92 hours of playback with ANC disabled, or around 51.5 hours with noise cancellation active, thanks to the built-in 650 mAh battery.
