Vincent, consistently working to improve products in its most popular Power Line series, introduces a new model in the line of hybrid integrated amplifiers – the Vincent SV-228.
The sound of the Vincent SV-228 is in no way inferior to its predecessors. On the contrary, dynamics and resolution are improved, without losing the naturalness and traditional warmth inherent in Vincent hybrid amplifiers. To comply with modern environmental standards, the Vincent SV-228 has an automatic shutdown function when there is no signal (operated using a switch on the rear panel).
The new Vincent SV-228, while maintaining the “vintage” style traditional for this series, appears in a completely new look: with a dial indicator (VU meter) built into the front panel. The color illumination of the indicator can be changed using a switch on the rear panel of the amplifier.
Modern requirements for switching capabilities have not gone unnoticed. The Vincent SV-228 now has Bluetooth (v 5.0) connectivity for wireless streaming. For home theater enthusiasts, a “Main Input” input has been added, which allows you to use the Vincent SV-228 as a power amplifier. You can connect, for example, an AV receiver to this input.
Three installed tubes (1 x 6N4, 2 x ECC82) operate in the input stage, preparing the music signal for transmission to the output stage. For final amplification, Toshiba A1941 transistors are used, generating an output power of 180 W per channel. This power is sufficient to control most modern speaker systems.
The Vincent SV-228 is the fruit of evolution in a series of extremely successful amplifiers, originating with the SV-226 and further developed in the SV-226MK, SV-226MKII, SV-227 and SV-227MK.
