The Topping L50 is a desktop headphone amplifier with an architecture optimized for incredible sound. It features next-generation NFCA circuitry based on the circuit found in the excellent A30 Pro. Versatile, it has good power reserves and offers a gain control to adapt to all types of headphones.
NFCA Circuitry
The NFCA circuitry in the L50 allows it to produce significant power, twice that of the L30 at 300 ohms impedance. This design also provides very low noise levels of just 0.3 µV, 145 dB dynamic range and 0.00006% THD+N.
Single-ended and balanced
Topping L50 has both single-ended and balanced connectors to adapt to your listening equipment. For inputs, it offers single-ended RCA and balanced 6.35mm TRS connectors. Likewise, on the output we find a 4 pole balanced XLR and a single-ended 6.35mm jack.
Pass Through Function
When the L50 is turned off, the input signal goes directly to the RCA and TRS outputs without amplification. So it can work with powered speakers if the DAC has a pre-amplification feature.
