Shanling CD80: CD player with Bluetooth and DAC

Shanling has announced the CD80 CD player based on the ES9219MQ chip from ESS.

Shanling CD80 is a sophisticated traditional CD player that seamlessly combines advanced technology with a sleek, compact design. It provides an exceptional hearing experience for users, combining state-of-the-art features in a compact size. ESS’s proven Saber DAC chip is now used in our CD players equipped with the LTA8092 and RT6863 amplifiers. This configuration guarantees high-quality sound decoding and conversion, a harmonious combination of clarity and powerful sound, elevating your musical enjoyment.

Philips CD drive and Sanyo HD860 laser technology
Featuring a Philips CD drive and Sanyo HD860 laser technology, the CD80 delivers stable and efficient CD audio playback. This is facilitated by integration with the Ingenic X1000 system platform, which provides the player with efficient computing capabilities and smooth operation. As a testament to its modernity, the CD80 supports playback from USB storage devices, supporting sample rates up to 32/384 kHz and DSD256 audio formats. In addition, in line with modern connectivity requirements, the device features Bluetooth 5.0 with support for LDAC and AAC audio codecs for seamless wireless connection with headphones and speakers.

3.5mm and RCA Analog Outputs
The CD80 offers a range of output alternatives, including an SPDIF optical output for connecting to external digital devices, as well as 3.5mm and RCA analog outputs with pre-out mode to suit a variety of audio equipment needs. The user-friendly user interface is complemented by a digital LED tube display that intuitively displays current playback status and track information. Ease of control is provided by the Eddict Player control panel and remote control, which allows you to easily control the functions and settings of the player.
