The Rotel CD11MKII continues Rotel’s more than 30-year history of providing sophisticated, high-quality, value-packed CD players. The player’s massive steel body houses Rotel’s proprietary disc drive mechanism, designed exclusively for CD playback. The Rotel CD11MKII’s smooth tray-loading mechanism, precise laser sensor and silent motor controller ensure smooth playback of your disc collection.
Digital-to-analog conversion is accomplished using a high-quality 32-bit/384 kHz Texas Instruments PCM5102A DAC, which feeds the signal to specially tuned digital low-pass filter circuits. This design allows music to be reproduced with exceptional detail, precision and finesse across a large, open soundstage. The linear power supply isolates the CD drive motor controls from critical audio circuitry, reducing noise and distortion, allowing you to extract even finer details from your CD collection.
The CD player’s intuitive front-panel controls and included remote control make setup and operation easy. The graphic display shows CD metadata, including track information including song title, artist, and playback status.
The digital coaxial output connector allows the Rotel CD11MKII to be used as a full-fledged CD transport. A 12V trigger input on the rear panel controls power, and the RS232 connector allows for seamless integration even with complex control systems. The Rotel CD11MKII is available in both Black and Silver colors.
