The Onkyo TX-8250 Network Stereo Receiver makes a good foundation for a modern audio system and is equipped with a full range of the latest audio features, as well as many proprietary technologies. The front panel of the device contains all the controls necessary for daily use, but thanks to their thoughtful placement, the panel does not look overloaded, and any switch or regulator is easily accessible.
The device is manufactured in a metal case on an anti-resonance chassis, which provides good protection of electronic circuits from both electrical interference and mechanical vibrations. The receiver contains amplifiers based on discrete elements, capable of delivering significant power to the load, and operating in a wide frequency band (WRAT technology) without shifting the phase of the audio signal. To connect speakers, the Onkyo TX-8250 has four pairs of screw terminals, which allows you to connect speakers using a Bi-Wiring scheme, or to provide sound in an additional room. The device’s power supply is built on the basis of a high-power shielded transformer, as well as two custom filter capacitors with a capacity of 8200 μF.
The receiver can be connected to a computer network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi; AirPlay and Bluetooth technologies are also supported for direct connection with compatible devices. The device is equipped with two optical and two coaxial inputs, and on its front panel there is a USB connector for portable drives with music files. The DAC in the receiver is based on the new AKM4452 chip with 32-bit / 384 kHz parameters, which allows you to play 24-bit / 192 kHz PCM files over the network, as well as DSD with a frequency of up to 5.6 MHz. The receiver also has a built-in phono stage for the MM pickup of a vinyl player. To enhance bass frequencies, you can connect an external subwoofer to the TX-8250. The receiver is equipped with an Optimum Gain Volume Circuitry, which provides a change in signal level by controlling the gain, and due to this, introduces much less noise and distortion into the sound than traditional circuits.
The Onkyo TX-8250 stereo receiver provides support for all popular multiroom technologies, including DTS Play-Fi, Chromecast and FlareConnect, as well as network streaming services Spotify, Tidal, Tunein and Deezer. At the same time, the proprietary Onkyo Controller application makes it possible to combine such speakers into groups and control music playback throughout the house. The Onkyo TX-8250 has several convenient utility functions, including selecting one of four preset terrestrial or Internet radio stations using the buttons on the front panel.

Classic CD player Onkyo C-7030 is addressed to those lovers of high-quality sound who prefer to listen to their collection in the “classical” way – on optical media. This player, which embodies the company’s many years of experience in creating equipment of this class, is made using the most modern technologies and selected components.
The front panel of the Onkyo C-7030 is made of aluminum and has a significant thickness. The device is equipped with a transport mechanism installed in the center of the body on a special anti-resonance chassis and optimized for playing CD-Audio discs. How is this implemented? The chassis is made of 1.6 mm thick steel and, thanks to its flat design, successfully combats parasitic vibrations. The Onkyo C-7030 has a Wolfson digital-to-analog converter with 24-bit/192 kHz parameters, which provides the highest accuracy in processing the digital stream taken from a CD. The player has also taken additional measures to reduce jitter levels. The master oscillator, which controls the operation of the entire digital circuit of the player, has quartz frequency stabilization with an accuracy of +/- 10 ppm (i.e. ten millionths), which exceeds the typical figure for equipment of this class.
VLSC digital-to-analog conversion technology is one of Onkyo’s proprietary developments, which has significantly improved sound quality. It made it possible to significantly reduce the noise level in the audio signal at the output of the DAC, increasing the detail and airiness of the sound picture. The power supply in the Onkyo C-7030 is based on a custom high-power network transformer and has separate windings for supplying voltage to the analog and digital circuits of the player. The device is equipped with high-quality output stages made using selected audiophile-grade components with shortened audio signal transmission circuits. The player is also equipped with a built-in headphone amplifier – with an output jack with a diameter of 6.3 mm.
On the rear panel of the Onkyo C-7030 there is an analog stereo output, coaxial and optical outputs, as well as jacks for an external control system; All contact surfaces of audio connectors are gold-plated.
