The Aqua Acoustic product range has expanded with the La Diva M2 CD transport , which, despite the old name, received both a new CD mechanism and other components, including electronics, etc.
The new model is designed to play CDs only, and the connection is primarily via the I2S bus, which the developers called AQlink for some reason . Inside is the new Philips Pro-8S CD transport, which offers improved performance over the base Pro-8S .
Thanks to the AQlink interface bus , the device is free of jitter (using a CAT6 cable with a regular RJ45 connector , or with a professional etherCON RJ45 ). The company has also developed special discrete circuits that allow the encoding/output FPGA to galvanically isolate the outputs of AQlink I2S, AES/EBU, AT&T Fiber, S/PDIF . The new device also features an improved industrial display with a clearer image and increased brightness. On the front panel, along with the screen, there are control buttons: “Play”, “Pause”, “Stop” and others.
