Sales of premium Signature Edelstein bookshelf speakers from Magnat have started in the UK . They are currently available for £949 per pair. According to the developers, their brainchild can be an excellent alternative to models from KEF, PMC, Dali and other brands.
The Signature Edelstein is a two-way reflex design featuring a 2.5mm thick fabric dome tweeter with an extra-wide surround (called a “spherical waveguide”) that is specifically designed to more effectively dissipate high frequencies and minimize tweeter vibration. The tweeter is complemented by a mid/bass driver with a diameter of 11.5 inches, which the developers call a masterpiece thanks to the multi-layer “ 3L Sandwich Diaphragm ” design, consisting of layers of ceramic, magnesium and aluminum.
The body is made of MDF, the front panel is made of solid aluminum. The new product is available in two finishes: silky matte black or satin white. Each speaker features a dual-layer acrylic glass and solid aluminum backing plate that further helps minimize vibration, and removable grilles are included to protect the front panels.
