Kyron Audio has introduced the Kyron Audio Pythos, a top-tier dual-unit network transport. Every aspect of this innovative product—music storage, navigation, and streaming systems—has been meticulously refined to ensure minimal jitter and low noise levels. Whether accessing high-resolution streaming services or your personal music library stored on a network server or internal storage, the Pythos delivers content with remarkable precision.
The Pythos music network transport is engineered to provide impeccable playback of audio, ranging from standard-definition CDs to high-resolution PCM and DSD formats. Its integrated CD drive allows users to digitize their physical music collections for quick access to any track. Additionally, high-definition content can be obtained from streaming services, subject to subscription requirements.
To reduce potential interference, the Kyron Audio Pythos eliminates the need for an information display and video subsystem. All transport controls are managed via a tablet, smartphone, or computer connected to the same network. Furthermore, any processor functions unrelated to music playback are disabled.
The music playback engine is equipped with dedicated processor cores, ensuring that other processes do not disrupt its operation. This design guarantees a stable, bit-perfect audio stream, even while browsing or updating playlists or ripping CDs. The Kyron Audio Pythos transport utilizes a USB interface for connecting to an external DAC.
Kyron Audio Pythos incorporates ECC RAM, which is usually designated for systems where reliability is paramount. This type of memory is capable of identifying and rectifying single-bit errors that could potentially disrupt the audio stream. Although these errors are minor and generally undetectable in standard measurements, they are frequently overlooked by the processor.
