The new digital-to-analog converter and headphone amplifier iBasso DC-Elite is built on the basis of solutions used in the company’s flagship player – iBasso DX320MAX .
These include the use of a ROHM BD34301EKV current output chip in the DAC unit , which is the first to be used in such a miniature device, as well as a 24-position attenuator. To connect headphones, the model provides jacks for 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm minijacks , while the 3.5 mm jack can also be used to output a digital signal in coaxial format.
The use of six high-quality operational amplifiers made it possible to achieve a low level of intrinsic noise, as well as provide an output power of 280 mW with balanced and 162 mW with unbalanced connection. The accuracy of the timing characteristics of the digital signal is ensured by the NDK clock generator . The body of the device is machined from titanium alloy and partially covered with tempered glass; the model weighs only 60.5 grams with dimensions of 64 x 35 x 14.5 mm .
