Hifi Rose, a manufacturer of digital audio players, has updated its RS150 model, which has been available for over four years. The new iteration is designated as the RS151, indicating that it closely resembles the RS150. The design team has incorporated customer feedback into the development of the RS151. Notably, the large front-facing touch screen remains a key feature.
The RS151 continues the legacy of its predecessor, the RS150. Engineers in South Korea have dedicated significant effort to enhance the already remarkable features of the RS150. By combining their technical expertise with insights from customer feedback, they have created a streamer that boasts improvements across the board. The RS151 offers numerous enhancements compared to the RS150. It features the advanced ESS Sabre ES9039PRO DAC chip, which provides superior sound reproduction by minimizing digital distortion to an almost negligible level. Furthermore, the RS151 incorporates 4th generation Hyperstream technology along with a sophisticated Femto clock, ensuring exceptional timing accuracy and reduced jitter. As a result, the audio experience is clearer and more detailed than ever.
Additionally, a key improvement is the complete physical separation of digital and analog signal paths. This design change effectively eliminates noise and interference between the circuits, leading to a clearer sound with remarkable channel separation and an impressively expansive stereo image.
HiFi Rose has prioritized user-friendliness in its latest offerings. A significant request from the community was for the inclusion of a wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle. In response, HiFi Rose has incorporated a subtly integrated antenna that supports the latest wireless standards, including Bluetooth 5.4. The remarkable touchscreen that spans the entire front has not only been retained but has also been upgraded to a higher resolution and larger dimensions. The reason for this enhancement is straightforward: it is feasible. This upgraded display elevates the visual experience, making it more enjoyable to browse your music library and enjoy your favorite content, as noted by HiFi Rose.
The RS151 operates on Android 12, delivering an enhanced and more stable user experience. This updated interface allows users to further personalize their settings and download applications tailored to their preferences. As a result, the RS151 serves not only as a robust streaming device but also as a multifunctional multimedia center.
Moreover, the RS151 features an HDMI eARC connection, simplifying the process of connecting to a television. This ensures the transmission of uncompressed, high-resolution audio, allowing you to enjoy your favorite films and series with superior sound quality, all while conveniently managing everything with your current TV remote.
It is anticipated that deliveries will commence in February or March, although pricing details have yet to be revealed.
