Topping A70 PRO is an efficient and affordable headphone amplifier. Its carefully crafted design makes it the perfect ally for any audiophile who wants to enjoy rich, clear headphone sound. The amplifier is Hi-Res certified, a mark that guarantees very good sound reproduction quality.
The A70 PRO is both simple and highly effective. It includes a selection of balanced XLR and stereo RCA inputs, but with the ability to connect the A70PRO to the Ext90 you can get a total of 4 balanced XLR inputs and 2 RCA inputs. On the output side, three connectors are available: 4.4 mm jack balanced output, 6.35 jack output and 4-pin XLR output. There is also an RCA output and an XLR output for the preamp function.
The A70 Pro can reach output power of up to 17,000 mW while maintaining low distortion.
When using multiple devices in combination at the same time, it may cause some noise. Now with the A70 Pro, you can make that noise disappear thanks to the GND/LIFT button on the back of the device. You just need to turn it on LIFT and the noise will go away.
This feature allows you to control the A70 PRO or control other devices to turn on and off at the same time.
A new color display is built into the A70 Pro along with 3 buttons for easier operation. Moreover, this screen can display some information (FTT and VU) according to your needs and desires.
This headphone amplifier can also be used as a preamp. It also has high performance as a preamp with an output impedance of 50 ohms on RCA and 100 ohms on XLR. This allows the A70 Pro to be connected to many power amplifiers.
The Topping A70 Pro’s volume control is built on a resistive matrix (R2R) that provides long life, precise control, and maintains dynamics at low signal levels.
Topping has developed an ultra-low noise input stage in the A70 Pro. This significantly increases the noise level of the balanced output and increases the output impedance to 20K ohms for optimal compatibility with all types of devices.
The gain architecture has also been redesigned to reduce noise and distortion at high gain.
