Bowers & Wilkins PX8 headphones are the flagship model in the company’s catalog and are distinguished by very high quality finishes and sophisticated design. All design elements of the model are carefully thought out and manufactured in full accordance with its premium status.
The headphones are available in two finishes: black or light brown nappa leather. Aluminum elements give Bowers & Wilkins PX8 additional chic and also guarantee high reliability. The die-cast aluminum headband is completely covered with shock-absorbing padding. When processing metal parts, diamond cutting was used, which ensured not only high manufacturing accuracy, but also an attractive appearance.
The Bowers & Wilkins PX8 ear pads are filled with memory foam for maximum comfort. The fit of the model is so comfortable that after a short time you simply stop noticing it. Even the peculiarity of using headphones by people wearing glasses is taken into account – their temples will not interfere with the tight fit of the ear pads or create discomfort.
Bowers & Wilkins PX8 are equipped with new dynamic drivers with carbon diffusers. These speakers provide exceptionally accurate and balanced sound. The placement of the emitters is made inclined to obtain a wide stereo image. The model uses Bluetooth version 5.2 technology with support for improved aptX/aptx HD and AAC audio codecs. A special feature of this model is the adaptive noise reduction function ANC. It is built on the basis of four microphones built into the headphones, two of which pick up external noise, and two evaluate the sound of the headphones themselves. The result is a hybrid circuit that effectively protects the listener from external noise without negatively affecting sound quality. Two more microphones are used for accurate voice transmission during telephone conversations.
To control Bowers & Wilkins PX8, you can use the buttons located on the cups of the model, or a proprietary mobile application. The capabilities of the latter are very wide and include equalizer functions, as well as broadcasting music from streaming services. Bowers & Wilkins PX8 battery life is up to 30 hours, and if the battery is completely discharged, the headphones can be connected to a signal source using the included audio cable.
