Audeze has released professional magnetic planar headphones MM -500 .
Audeze is set to add new premium headphones to its catalogue. This time they decided to collaborate with their new head of professional products and create new studio-quality headphones with an open back panel. The MM-50 was designed in part by Manny Marroquin, a renowned engineer and producer who has won eleven Grammy Awards.
The MM-500s were built from the ground up to provide reference studio audio that mixers can use as a tool to monitor their work. It is designed to capture and convey not only the sound, but also the feel of your mixes. To be able to use headphones like these for long periods of time, you’ll need something comfortable for long sessions, which is what the MM-500 aim to achieve with a lighter body and premium leather ear pads.
Audeze’s patented planar magnetic driver delivers faster transients and fidelity to help studio engineers create the best possible mix. The MM-500’s low impedance also makes the headphones compatible with all studio interfaces and consoles.
