HiFi Rose RA280 is a complete amplifier that inherits the innovative technologies used in the already familiar HiFi Rose RA180. Enjoy pure natural sound, as close as possible to the original sound. Class D amplifiers using the latest technology are superior in a number of metrics to amplifiers in Class A or Class AB. However, despite these advantages, many expert measurements show a lack of sound quality compared to analog amplifiers due to the limitations of digital circuits. To overcome these limitations, Hi-Fi ROSE developed “Class AD” amplifier technology using GaN transistors and applied this technology in the RA180 (complete amplifier), RS520 (all-in-one system) and the RA280.
An innovative new material, Gallium Nitride, dramatically improves linearity and overcomes the limitations of Class D amplifiers, delivering smooth, natural reproduction of audio material with the smoothness of an analog amplifier. The result is analog-like quality + Class D efficiency and power.
The HiFi Rose RA280 also offers the functionality of a built-in MM phono preamplifier, which is capable of amplifying very weak audio signals captured by the pickup head with high precision and processing them without distortion. We have already tested the built-in phono preamplifier in the flagship HiFi Rose RA180 and were inspired by the results.
