Ahead of ISE 2024, Waterfall Audio has announced the launch of its new Niagara XT series of glass speaker systems designed for luxury residential projects.
At the event to celebrate 20 years of system integration, the French audio specialist from Cars in Provence will present its latest innovations, including developments in wood horns and Jetstream damping technology. Waterfall Audio, founded in 1996 by Cédric Aubriot, has over the years established itself as a company that offers an innovative approach to loudspeaker design. The company began selling its first products in November 1999 after four years of intensive development and research in collaboration with Atohm, a renowned French manufacturer of loudspeakers and speaker components based near Besançon.
By employing high-tech precision glass cutting processes, Waterfall Audio has achieved the art of glass assembly, which has found particular interest in the luxury residential integration market segment. Their products, sold through a network of specialist dealers in France, are now available in more than 50 countries.
Niagara XT
The technical and aesthetic aspects of the new Niagara XT series have been significantly improved. The new wood horn offers an alternative to the standard glass horn, as well as the option of a genuine Nappa leather top for a variety of luxury options. Full specifications and details of the new products will be presented at ISE 2024.
Also on display will be Jetstream’s new damping technology, designed to control sound pressure in floor-standing glass speakers, including the Niagara, Iguascu and Victoria models. This technology, the company says, significantly improves both design and technical performance, allowing for deeper and faster bass with clearer sound in the midrange.
Also on display at ISE 2024 is the Waterfall Pro Custom series, including the LCR500 and SUB600S models, designed for use in rooms ranging from 40 to 100 square meters. A 2.2 system using 2x LCR500 and 2x SUB600S will be demonstrated in action, connected to Waterfall’s exclusive RS700 DSP AMP.
