The Q series from the Danish company Scansonic has so far included three models – Q3, Q8 and Q10. They are united by an elegant and at the same time very rigid body design. Already traditional for Scansonic, the systems are equipped with a quasi-ribbon tweeter, which is designed to match the speakers with diffusers made of woven carbon fiber. It is emphasized that all this was developed in Denmark by Scansonic.

The younger model, Q3, is made on the basis of two 5.25-inch speakers and operates in a 2.5-way configuration. The Q8 is already a three-way model, with an 8-inch woofer and a 5.25-inch midrange driver. The three-way Q10s are currently the flagships of the series; unlike the Q8 model, they have not one, but two 8-inch woofers.

All three models are equipped with branded crossovers, all three are available in two finishes – black or natural walnut veneer. The manufacturer especially emphasizes the quality of assembly, fit and finish of the Q series acoustics.

In the EU, Scansonic Q3 acoustics cost 7,000 euros in black or 8,000 euros in walnut veneer, respectively, the price of Q8 is 9,000 or 11,000 euros and Q10 is 13,000 or 15,000 euros.
