The American company Perlisten Audio has expanded the S – Series and R – Series series with new built-in acoustic models designed to equip home cinemas of the highest level. The Perlisten S-Series and R-Series are in-wall speakers that allow for the most inconspicuous surround sound system possible. At the same time, a distinctive feature of the speakers from Perlisten is that in order to implement such a construct, one does not have to compromise on sound quality.
More and more manufacturers are choosing solutions for their in-wall loudspeakers, borrowed from the respective classic loudspeaker models, which guarantees impeccable sound quality. These manufacturers include Perlisten Audio. The new Perlisten i models from the S-Series and R-Series feature the same technology and high quality components as their bookshelf and floorstanding counterparts.
The new Perlisten S7i tops the list of innovations and is based on the Perlisten S7t floorstanding speaker. The speaker is THX Cerified Dominus certified and meets the highest standards in home theater acoustics. The model features a small installation depth of only 10 cm, as well as a robust extruded aluminum housing, which ensures that even at maximum power, the transmission of vibrations to the wall and to adjacent rooms is minimized.
The Perlisten S7i uses the proprietary DPC tweeter/waveguide array, a combination of a 28mm beryllium dome and two 28mm TPCDs. The result is one of the most technologically advanced drivers available, delivering amazing fidelity and natural reproduction of the vocal range and high frequencies. The DPC array is used in all Perlisten S-Series models, ensuring the tonal identity of the sound of the entire system. The low-frequency spectrum is entrusted to four 180mm Textreme TPCD woofers, located on the sides of the DPC array. The Perlisten S7i in-wall speaker is available in different versions – for left and right front channels (Perlisten S7i-LR) and as a center speaker (Perlisten S7i-C).
The younger model S-Series Perlisten S4i , which is compact, is primarily intended for use as surround speakers. A specially designed woofer for this speaker sits above the DPC array. Together with the downward-sloping baffle and the extremely shallow installation depth, this makes the Perlisten S4i ideal for use as a surround speaker where space is limited.
With the R-Series, Perlisten aims to offer speakers with outstanding value for money and thus wants to appeal to a particularly broad target group of home theater enthusiasts. Like the top built-in model of the Perlisten S series, based on the classic Perlisten R5m acoustics, the new Perlisten R 5i built -in speakers are offered both in the LR version, designed to serve the front channels of a home theater (Perlisten R5i-LR), and in the version for the center channel (Perlisten R5i-C).
The robust speaker cabinet is also made of extruded aluminum profiles, as is the case with the Perlisten S series. The mounting depth is also 10 cm. It also uses the proprietary DPC driver array of three 26 mm domes, which guarantee excellent directivity and tonal balance of all Perlisten R-Series models. The 165mm woofer cones are made from patented HPF pulp. The Perlisten R-Series surround sound system is seamlessly complemented by Perlisten R4i speakers . Thanks to their compact design, they are perfect for surround speakers with perfect timbre matching.
