Pro-Ject Audio Systems has launched an all-white turntable called the T1 White Edition. All components are white, even the pre-assembled MM cartridge.

According to the designers, the standard T1 Evo delivers hi-fi sound on a budget. This special T1 White Edition features a stylish, CNC-milled plinth with a satin white finish. The chassis is designed without voids, preventing unwanted vibrations within the chassis. The T1 is built in Europe.

The T1 features a belt-driven platter attached to a sub-platter. This sub-platter is mounted in a high-precision main bearing system with a tolerance of 0.001 mm, featuring a hardened steel axle and a brass bushing. Combined with the selected motor system, the T1 provides a smooth, resonant rotating platform for the tonearm and cartridge.

The T1’s tonearm is based on previous Pro-Ject Audio designs. With its straight, effective length of 8.5 inches and sturdy aluminum construction, this one-piece tonearm features low-friction bearings for absolute accuracy. Besides its sleek and stylish appearance, the integrated headshell eliminates additional vibration, a significant improvement over other detachable, screw-on, or glued-on headshells.

The all-white finish gives the tonearm a very distinctive look and comes with a Pick it 2M White Moving Magnet cartridge with an elliptical diamond stylus. The T1 is equipped with a super-shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance phono cable, specially designed by Pro-Ject.

The suggested retail price of the Pro-Ject Audio T1 White Edition is just under $500.
