Edifier unveiled a new set of wireless speakers at CES 2026. The M90, available in white and black, features Bluetooth 6.0 as well as the necessary wired connections.

While many competitors chase lifestyle imagery or audiophile buzzwords, Edifier claims its CES offering is sticking to a clearer idea: audio that works everywhere you live, work, and listen. A reasonable price, features that fit real-world needs, and performance that actually holds up have, according to the manufacturer, given the brand a legitimate position in a market that punishes half-baked ideas.

Edifier’s new M90 active speaker is designed to feel at home on a desktop or in a home theater setup. The goal of the M90 is simple: to bridge the gap between desktop audio, TVs, streaming platforms, and game consoles, without forcing users to juggle multiple systems or make compromises.
Ease of use is clearly a key consideration. The M90 offers built-in controls for quick adjustments, a multi-directional remote for couch control, and support for the Edifier ConneX mobile app on iOS and Android. This makes everything from basic operation to setup possible, without the hassle of complicated troubleshooting.

The Edifier M90 is a two-way loudspeaker and a master/slave system, meaning the master speaker contains all the amplifier and connection electronics, including those for the slave speaker, which is connected to the master speaker by a cable. Each driver has its own amplifier. The silk-dome tweeter has a diameter of 25 millimeters, and the midrange/woofer has a diameter of approximately ten centimeters. The M90 supports a resolution of 24-bit/96 kHz, depending on the source. In practice, this means cleaner signal processing and better dynamic control, provided, of course, that the music signal is also supplied as such.
DSP plays a central role in the M90’s sound quality, optimizing performance for various types of content, from music and video to games. On the back, the connectivity is surprisingly comprehensive, with line-in, optical, USB-C, and HDMI eARC, covering most modern applications.

The wireless connection is provided by Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC and multipoint support , enabling higher-quality wireless playback and seamless switching between devices. In a market where wireless convenience often comes at the expense of sound quality, Edifier clearly strives to offer both aspects satisfactorily.
