FiiO has announced the K17 R2R Pro, a streaming headphone amplifier with R2R functionality that will make its official debut in early June 2026 at the High End Audio Fair in Vienna (HEW). The K17 R2R is designed to function as both a standalone headphone system and a central hub within a hi-fi system. Pricing information is yet to be announced.
Network player, DA converter and headphone amplifier

FiiO has announced the launch of the K17 R2R Pro, a powerful all-in-one desktop DA converter, network player, and headphone amplifier designed to deliver uncompromising sound quality with advanced functionality. Building on the success of its predecessors, the K15 and K19, the K17 R2R Pro introduces a proprietary resistance ladder architecture (R2R), along with an extensive range of modern connectivity and customization options, all designed for audiophiles, according to the manufacturer.
The heart of the K17 R2R consists of FiiO's proprietary 5 + 24-bit R2R PRO resistance arrays, a design choice that prioritizes natural tonality, rich harmonic details, and a more analog listening experience.
Users can switch between NOS (Non-Oversampling) and OS (Oversampling) modes, allowing playback to be tailored to individual preferences and the source material. Whether you strive for ultimate sound quality or smoother playback, the K17 R2R handles both with ease.

The advanced DAC architecture is complemented by a discrete Class AB transistor amplifier for headphones. With a high output power of 4000 mW per channel, the K17 R2R effortlessly drives a wide range of headphones, from sensitive in-ear monitors to demanding planar headphones, while maintaining clarity and dynamic range. This combination ensures a listening experience that is both powerful and nuanced. The K17 R2R Pro is pictured above with the flagship FiiO FT7 headphones.
The K17 R2R is designed as a true all-in-one solution, combining DAC and amplifier functionality with local playback and reception of streaming media. Thanks to QPlay support, users can seamlessly stream high-quality audio from compatible devices, while dual-band 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet ensure stable, fast connectivity in various environments.
31-band parametric equalizer
The K17 R2R features a highly accurate 31-band parametric equalizer with Auto EQ functionality, allowing users to fine-tune their sound characteristics. Whether the listener wishes to correct the frequency response of their headphones or shape the sound to their personal taste, the K17 R2R Pro offers studio-quality sound and control in a user-friendly interface, according to the manufacturer.
The user can open the parametric equalizer via the FiiO Control app on a smartphone or via a web browser on a computer and save the settings on the K17 R2R.
To further increase versatility, the K17 R2R is equipped with a USB ground loop isolator, which effectively reduces unwanted noise and interference when connected to computers or other digital sources.
Linear power supply and IR remote control
This attention to detail extends to the internal power supply design, featuring a low-noise 35-watt linear power supply that ensures a clean, stable power supply for optimal performance of all components.

A vibrant 3.93-inch diagonal display offers intuitive navigation and real-time control over settings, display, and visual themes. Yes, that includes VU meters and a clock display. The interface is designed for responsiveness and clarity, ensuring a seamless experience, whether adjusting EQ parameters or selecting between inputs.
For added convenience, the K17 R2R comes with an aluminum alloy infrared remote control that offers high-quality tactile feedback and full access to important functions from across the room.
