xDuoo has released the MU-601 , a small USB DAC that is both affordable and efficient. Despite its relative simplicity, it uses high-quality components such as the ES9018K2M DAC and USB XMOS interface, allowing it to read high-resolution audio streams and provide accurate sound restitution.
ES9018K2M DAC
At the digital-to-analog conversion stage, the xDuoo MU-601 uses the ES9018K2M DAC chip. Used in many HiFi audio devices, it provides high SNR and very low THD+N levels. These indicators make it possible to achieve transparent sound restitution.
USB XMOS Interface
The MU-601 uses the superior USB XU208 interface, which provides efficient asynchronous signal transfer while reducing jitter. Additionally, it supports high-resolution files up to 32-bit 384 kHz PCM and DSD256.
Two USB Modes for Maximum Compatibility
There is a switch on the back panel of the MU-601 that allows you to select the USB device mode – USB 1.0 or 2.0. This feature ensures maximum compatibility, regardless of the device paired with the MU-601.
