Masimo, owner of the Denon and Marantz brands , announced the release of a new version of the HEOS application. One of the key innovations of the latest version is an improved user interface for accessing radio stations, podcasts and your favorite tracks.
HEOS, a proprietary ecosystem built into Denon and Marantz products, enables wireless streaming from popular streaming platforms to compatible devices such as AV receivers and network amplifiers, as well as a wide range of wireless speakers and soundbars. The number of devices that can be connected simultaneously has also been increased to 64.
Navigating the app is more intuitive, with a handy “now playing” indicator at the bottom of the screen to let you keep track of what song is playing. The main screen of the application has also been updated: you can now access recently played tracks, your favorite music service and much more.
There’s also universal search, allowing you to find tracks from different streaming services and your personal music library, as well as the ability to add songs from different streaming platforms to HEOS playlists.
Denon has been releasing HEOS-ready models for years: the Denon PMA-900HNE, released in 2022, was the company’s first integrated network amplifier with HEOS built-in, and by 2023 the line had expanded to include 19 products, including wireless speakers, subwoofers and more. other.
The updated version of the HEOS app is already available on Google Play and Apple AppStore .
