The Technics SL-G700M2 player is a universal device that can become the only signal source in a Hi-Fi system. Technics SL-G700M2 can perform the functions of a high-quality CD/SACD player, and also work as a network audio player with support for the latest formats.
The player uses an ESS ES9026PRO digital-to-analog converter with isolated stereo channels. The use of this modern chip made it possible to obtain a very high signal-to-noise ratio, as well as minimize distortion. The converter’s power supply is divided into five sections for different functional parts, each with optimized parameters. At the same time, a unique battery circuit is used to power the master oscillator, due to which it was possible to significantly reduce the level of jitter. The analog output stage of the DAC is made of discrete transistors and precision resistors. This stage not only has a very low noise level and provides high output current, but also an expanded dynamic range of sound. The player has balanced and unbalanced analog outputs.
Technics SL-G700M2 is capable of playing High Resolution audio in DSD and PCM formats, has support for MQA and Chromecast technology. The player has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirPlay 2, making it a completely universal device. The device is equipped with a specialized transport mechanism optimized for playing CD and SACD discs. The drive is mounted on a three-layer chassis, and the disc tray is made of aluminum. The front panel of the device is also aluminum, and placing the transport mechanism in the center of the chassis made it possible to equalize the mechanical loads for the entire structure.
Technics SL-G700M2 has a high-quality power supply with a very low noise level, which has a large output current reserve for reliable operation of all player circuits. To eliminate possible interference, additional circuits in the player (for example, indication) can be disabled. You can also note the presence of a high-quality headphone output in the Technics SL-G700M2, which is powered by a separate DAC. It is built on patented JENO technology, designed to radically reduce jitter. The headphone amplifier operates in class AA and provides uncompromising sound quality.
