Original Audio offers the OPA-Q1.1 , an RIAA phono amplifier with an original design featuring a striking cylindrical format cut from a solid block of aluminum. However, its characteristics do not fade into the background, offering excellent musicality. Its circuitry uses a dual field tube as well as an AOP for the MM/MC gain section, and its RIAA curve is Non-Feedback.
The OPA-Q1.1’s amplification stage is also neat, using a Z11 Iron Core transformer specifically designed for this model.
In terms of connectivity, the OPA-Q1.1 provides a classic connection, of course with stereo RCA input and output. However, it also offers an optical Toslink digital output coupled to a CS8604 ADC (analog to digital converter) supporting sampling rates up to 24-bit 96kHz PCM.
