NAD Electronics announces the launch of the NAD C 700 V2 streaming amplifier (with BluOS ) . It will be available from October 2024 for $1.599.

Building on the success of its predecessor, the C 700, the NAD C 700 V2 offers significant improvements in performance and functionality and consolidates its leading position in the elegant, affordable “Just Add Speakers” category.

The NAD C 700 V2 features an improved ESS Sabre DAC, MM phono input, Dolby Digital decoding and Dirac Live-Ready. These improvements, together with NAD’s proven HybridDigital UcD amplifier technology, ensure powerful and clear sound reproduction that will appeal to both audiophiles and music lovers.

Seamless from stereo to surround sound

One of the C 700 V2’s standout features is its seamless integration of stereo and surround sound capabilities . The ability to switch to a 4.1 Dolby Digital surround setup with BluOS-enabled rear channels and a wired subwoofer extends its versatility, making it suitable for both music and home theater applications.

Intelligent room correction

The NAD C 700 V2 streaming amplifier is now Dirac Live ready , offering users the ability to unlock advanced room correction features with the purchase of a Dirac Live license. Using a calibrated microphone (sold separately) and the Dirac app, users can precisely tune their speakers to enjoy music and movies as they were originally intended. The C 700 V2 stores up to five Dirac Live profiles to adapt to different setups and room conditions.

Just Add Speakers

The NAD C 700 V2 has everything needed to play music simply by connecting speakers. The addition of an MM phono input is a notable improvement and is aimed at vinyl enthusiasts who can now enjoy their records with precise RIAA equalization and low noise. The extensive connectivity, including HDMI eARC , bi-directional aptX HD Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2 , offers flexibility for different devices and improves the amplifier’s integration possibilities into various entertainment systems. There is also a USB Type-A port for music playback and for connecting an optional calibration microphone.

Seamless Hi-Res music streaming and multi-room features

BluOS streaming and multi-room functionality are at the heart of the C 700 V2, providing access to over 20 popular music streaming services, thousands of Internet radio stations and local digital music libraries. Compatibility with major home control systems adds a layer of convenience, making it a smart addition to modern homes.

Premium design meets intuitive control

The design of the C 700 V2 also comes, with a high-resolution color display and a solid aluminum housing that reinforces a premium and minimalist aesthetic. User-friendly controls via the BluOS Controller app, along with the included remote control and compatibility with other IR remote controls ensure easy and intuitive operation.
