Colorfly has launched the new Colorfly CDA-M2 portable digital-to -analog converter and headphone amplifier.

ImageThe DAC unit in the new product is built on a dual CS43198 chip from Cirrus Logic and can work with 32-bit / 768 kHz PCM signals and native DSD 256 stream . The body of the device is completely machined from zinc alloy; two jacks are provided for connecting headphones – 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm.

 

ImageThe amplifier is made using two XR 2001 op-amps , the maximum output power with an unbalanced connection is 125 mW at 32 Ohms, with a balanced connection – 250 mW at 32 Ohms. On the front panel there is a small OLED screen with a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels. Physical controls are located on the side panel. Device dimensions – 58 x 25 x 13.5 mm , weight – 27 grams .
