Vincent has upgraded its junior DAC, the DAC-1, leading to enhancements in both sound quality and functionality. The newly released Vincent DAC-1 MK now supports DSD signal reception through its USB input and can handle files with a maximum resolution of 32 bits / 384 kHz. Furthermore, through its optical and coaxial inputs, the DAC-1 MK is capable of processing digital signals with a maximum resolution of 24 bits / 192 kHz.
The Vincent DAC-1 MK is equipped with the ES9038 chip as its digital-to-analog converter, and it employs a balanced circuit for all subsequent signal processing. To ensure optimal sound quality, the device incorporates only premium components sourced from reputable manufacturers, including WIMA and Nichicon.
Similar to the previous Vincent DAC-7 model, the Vincent DAC-1 MK power supply incorporates a transformer featuring a dual winding design. One winding is dedicated solely to the analog section of the device, while the other is reserved exclusively for the digital section. This configuration ensures that both components receive optimal power, effectively reducing parasitic interference. As a result, the dynamics are enhanced, enabling the delivery of a musical signal with minimal losses.
