SMSL PA200: Innovative and powerful amplifier

The SMSL PA200 is an innovative amplifier that merges the capabilities of an integrated and high-performance amplifier. It can function in stereo mode with volume adjustment or in mono mode, serving as a dedicated power amplifier. This device utilizes Infineon GaN FET transistors, delivering up to 2×160 W at 4 Ohm through an RCA stereo input, or up to 1×400 W at 4 Ohm via an XLR mono input. Its construction features premium components, including a Texas Instruments PGA2311 digital volume control, a pulse power supply, and gold-plated connectors. It comes equipped with standard terminals for speaker connections, and users can control it using buttons or a remote control.

The SMSL PA200 showcases its impressive performance through the integration of GaN FET transistors. In stereo mode using the RCA input, it can output up to 2×160 W into a 4-ohm load, while in mono mode via XLR, it reaches up to 1×400 W. Remarkably, the harmonic distortion remains at just 0.003%, ensuring that the sound retains its clarity and authenticity.

Volume adjustment is available only when utilizing the stereo RCA input. In mono mode through XLR, the amplifier functions strictly as a power amplifier, lacking signal level control. This feature makes it an excellent option for setups involving two PA200 amplifiers in a dual mono configuration.
