The five-channel power amplifier Rotel RMB-1575 is designed for those cases where it is necessary to provide sound for large rooms. The device develops an output of 5 x 250 W, with all channels operating simultaneously and at a load of 8 Ohms. If you connect speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms to the amplifier, the output power of the Rotel RMB-1575 doubles.

Thus, the Rotel RMB-1575 is able to effectively work with speakers with the most complex impedance characteristics, as well as those with low sensitivity. The Rotel RMB-1575 operates in class D, so with such a high output power it consumes only 600 W from the network, which greatly simplifies its installation in home audio systems. In addition, the heating of the amplifier’s output stages is also low, and there are no noisy fans in its design.

On the rear panel of the Rotel RMB-1575 amplifier there are five RCA input connectors, and five pairs of WBT terminals for connecting speakers. A trigger connector is provided for remote control of the amplifier. Inside, the amplifier case is quite densely filled with electronic circuits, although its layout differs from conventional devices operating in class A/B. There is no traditional massive mains transformer or large heatsinks for output transistors. Class D means the amplifier operates in an economical pulse mode, but in order for such circuitry to provide true Hi-Fi sound, it took more than one year of hard work by Rotel engineers. The device’s audio circuits use high-quality components, and the metal case with a thick aluminum panel reliably shields its circuits from external interference.

As a result, the Rotel RMB-1575 can boast not only remarkable power characteristics, but also very accurate, balanced sound with excellent depiction of the smallest nuances of the scene. With punchy, deep bass and a wide dynamic range, the amplifier is great for home theater use, but also has excellent musical performance. There are practically no complex speaker systems for the Rotel RMB-1575, and the amplifier easily takes control of even large floor-standing speakers.
