Vestlyd has expanded its active speaker offering with the M6C Active, a compact powered stereo pair that combines retro monitor styling with a broad set of modern inputs for music, TV audio, turntables, computers and production setups.
A compact active system with built-in amplification
The Vestlyd M6C Active is a two-way active hi-fi speaker system with the amplification built into the speaker set, removing the need for a separate integrated amplifier or receiver. The specified amplifier configuration is 4 x 75 watts RMS using Class D PWM amplification, with DSP handling onboard sound management.
Each speaker uses a 6.5-inch coaxial driver arrangement, placing a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter at the center of the bass/midrange unit. Vestlyd’s approach is intended to make the speaker behave as a point-source-style design, with the main driver also contributing to the horn-like loading of the tweeter. The cabinet is bass-reflex loaded, and the stated frequency response is 48 Hz to 22 kHz at -3 dB, or 43 Hz to 24 kHz at -6 dB.
The M6C Active is positioned as a living-room-friendly alternative to a stack of separate components. Its visual language draws on classic monitor speakers from the 1970s, while the electronics and input set are aimed at current playback habits.

HDMI/eARC, USB-C and phono input broaden the use cases
Connectivity is one of the M6C Active’s main talking points. For TV sound, the system includes HDMI/eARC, allowing a television to send digital audio directly to the speaker system. An optical digital input is also provided for additional digital sources such as streamers or TVs without HDMI/eARC support.
USB-C is included for computer audio, gaming and desktop use, and Vestlyd specifies support for up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution. When connected to a computer over USB-C, master volume can be controlled from the keyboard, making the system more convenient as a nearfield or workstation speaker setup.
For analog sources, the speaker set includes inputs suitable for traditional hi-fi and studio-style connections. The supplied material also specifies a built-in RIAA phono stage for moving-magnet cartridges, allowing a turntable to be connected directly without an external phono preamplifier. XLR/6.35 mm jack connectivity is included for music equipment and home-studio applications, and a subwoofer output is available for users who want to add a separate subwoofer.

Bluetooth 5.1 and onboard controls
Wireless playback is handled by Bluetooth 5.1, with support listed for aptX HD, aptX Low Latency and AAC. This gives the M6C Active a simple route for phone, tablet or computer playback without adding a separate streamer, though the supplied notes specify that auto-on is not available for Bluetooth or the turntable input.
A remote control is included and provides access to three EQ presets: Music, Movie and Flat. The speakers also allow bass and treble fine-tuning from switches on the rear panel. Auto on/off is supported for daily use, subject to the input limitations noted above.
The system lets the user choose whether the main speaker containing the electronics operates as the left or right channel. The two speakers are linked by a dedicated cable, and a 3-meter speaker cable is included in the box.

Cabinet, mounting and supplied accessories
The M6C Active is specified at 24.6 x 36.3 x 21.6 cm per speaker, measured width by height by depth. The listed finish is black, and the product information describes the model as available in multiple finishes. Matching floor stands are offered separately under the Vestlyd M-Stands name.
For more flexible placement, the cabinet includes a mounting provision compatible with standard 3.5 cm PA speaker stands or wall-mounting hardware. The system does not include integrated wall mounts, desktop stands or spikes as standard.
In the box, Vestlyd includes the speaker set, a start guide, a 1.8-meter power cable, a 3-meter speaker cable for the inter-speaker connection, a 1.5-meter USB-C cable and a remote control with AAA batteries.

Positioning and availability
The M6C Active is aimed at listeners who want a single speaker pair to serve several roles: stereo music playback, TV audio, turntable listening, computer sound and home-studio monitoring. Some alternatives may be more narrowly optimized for critical hi-fi listening, but the M6C Active’s feature set is clearly built around versatility.
The product information lists the speakers as a new item and indicates stock availability with a short delivery window. No USD price has been provided.
With HDMI/eARC, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, an MM phono stage and studio-friendly analog inputs, the Vestlyd M6C Active is designed as a compact powered speaker system for users who want wide source compatibility without assembling a traditional hi-fi stack.
