Elipson Chroma 400: Elegant and is easy to use turntable

The Chroma 400 turntable , offered by Elipson , is a manual, belt-driven model. It is pre-equipped with an Ortofon OM-10E moving magnet cartridge and features an all-new steel plate, graduated counterweight, carbon tonearm linked to the lift arm, as well as a new plate axis system, optimized motor and suspension assembly and improved electronics board.

With Chroma 400, Elipson offers an elegant turntable that is easy to use and above all offers great musicality. Most of the elements included in its composition have been designed with mechanical optimization in mind. Thus, its new carbon bracket significantly minimizes vibration and allows the signal transmitted by the cartridge not to deteriorate. The bracket is also made of 400 chrome and is accompanied by a lift that allows it to be lowered and raised smoothly.

The motor is also new, with a digital ASC (Auto Speed ​​Control) drive that allows precise speed control. This motor, mechanically suspended using an optimized system, also significantly reduces vibration. The new plate combined with an improved rotation axis provides high inertia and stable and constant reading speed.

Elipson is a French company founded in 1938, designing and manufacturing Alpha, Omega and Chroma turntables in France. The design and assembly of these products is therefore carried out in Saint-Fargeau in Yonne (Burgundy). In total, at least 70% of the components of these models are made in France (electronics, molded plastics, etc.). In addition, the turntables are entirely hand-assembled and each one is individually tested to ensure optimal performance.

The Elipson Chroma 400 is equipped with an Ortofon OM-10E pickup. It has a diamond elliptical profile and provides a frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 25 kHz with 22 dB channel separation.
