Swiss high-end audio manufacturer Goldmund has introduced a new monoblock power amplifier Telos 1800 . The new product develops 420 Watts when operating on a load with a nominal resistance of 8 Ohms and a THD of 1%. At the same time, the amplifier demonstrates a minimum output noise level of less than 3 μV throughout the entire audio range.
The Goldmund Telos 1800 mono power amplifier has less than 0.05% THD at 30V output, 35dB gain, 110dB dynamic range, and 600 damping factor at 1kHz and 8 ohms.
The Telos 1800 All-in-One is available in Goldmund’s traditional silver-gray color and can be customized with a gold or silver-gray ring. Like other current Goldmund products, the Telos 1800 power amplifier is clad in a 12mm thick panel housing (previously 6-8mm thick panels were used), which increases the rigidity of the amplifier case, improving the ability to dissipate vibrations.
The recommended retail price for the Goldmund Telos 1800 mono power amplifier is CHF 70,000 . In the UK, the new product will be offered for 77,500 pounds sterling , and in the USA – for 83,000 dollars . All prices are for one monoblock.
