Estelon Expands A-Series with Aurelia Loudspeakers and Aurus Subwoofer Ahead of High End Munich 2025

To commemorate its 15th anniversary, Estonian loudspeaker manufacturer Estelon is enhancing its A-line product range by launching three new models: the Aurelia, Aurelia Centre, and Aurus subwoofer. These models are crafted to provide the brand’s hallmark design and pristine sound in more adaptable configurations, and they will be officially unveiled at the High End audio trade fair in Munich, Germany, in two weeks.

The new Aurelia is a compact, two-way passive loudspeaker with a sealed enclosure, engineered to deliver fast and precise bass while minimizing the effects of room acoustics. Ideal for smaller listening environments, home offices, or nearfield setups, the Aurelia is equipped with two 132mm drivers from SB Acoustics, made with Egyptian papyrus fibers, and a 25mm fabric dome tweeter from Scan-Speak. Its enclosure is crafted from thermoformed, mineral-filled composite, a hallmark of Estelon’s design, aimed at reducing resonance and internal standing waves.

With a sensitivity rating of 87 dB and a frequency range of 70 Hz to 30 kHz, the Aurelia can handle a maximum power of 80 watts, with a recommended minimum amplifier power of 30 watts. It is provided with table stands as standard, while optional floor stands are also available.

For home theater applications, the Aurelia Centre serves as a center channel speaker that harmonizes with the Aurelia in tonal quality, ensuring a unified multichannel experience. It features the same driver configuration and sealed enclosure, and is constructed with the same cabinet design as the Aurelia. Estelon claims that the Centre model delivers the brand’s signature natural tonal balance and lifelike 3D imaging to a home theater environment, while preserving a consistent timbre across the front channels.

Estelon Aurus

Estelon has unveiled the Aurus subwoofer, a compact yet robust model designed for bass reproduction. This subwoofer integrates effortlessly with the Aurelia and the previously launched Aura floorstanding speakers, which debuted at the 2023 Munich trade fair. The Aurus is driven by a 1,200-watt Class D amplifier in a bridged setup and features a 12-inch long-throw driver with a 3-inch voice coil, complemented by a specialized passive radiator that minimizes port noise while enhancing bass performance. It includes line (XLR) and high-level (banana) inputs, dual filter systems, and selectable profiles to align with Estelon speakers. The output level is adjustable, with a frequency response reaching down to 18 Hz when paired with the Aura, or 75 Hz with the Aurelia. True to Estelon’s design philosophy, the new A-series models are available in a range of eye-catching finishes, including classic glossy black and white, as well as distinctive options like Horizon Blue, Starlight, Amber Elegance, and Iron Grey, each contributing a sculptural element to the listening environment. The complete A-series lineup – Aurelia, Aurelia Centre, Aurus, and the previously introduced floorstanding model – will be showcased at High End Munich 2025 as part of Estelon’s anniversary festivities.
