Topping presents the LA90 as a powerful and efficient amplifier that can operate in either stereo or mono mode. In the first case, it is capable of delivering a power of 2×90 W at a load of 4 ohms (1% THD+N), in the second – 180 W at a load of 8 ohms (1% THD+N). In addition, the LA90 is equipped with a combined balanced input jack, the device can be connected to both 6.35 mm Jack and XLR.

Rugged and massive,
the LA90 is clad in a precision CNC machined aluminum chassis. This housing gives the amplifier a modern design while effectively protecting the components of the device. The sides of the LA90 are equipped with large heat sinks that effectively dissipate the heat generated by the internal electronics.
High Power and Low Distortion
The LA90’s extremely low THD+N is measured at just 0.00007% at 8Ω 10W and 0.00008% at 4Ω 20W. These characteristics allow it to virtually accurately reproduce the original signal.
Balanced Inputs
The LA90 provides three balanced inputs. They have a combo format that allows you to use both XLR and 6.35mm TRS cables. In addition, three connectors allow you to use the device in monaural mode.
Two Gain Levels
To adapt to the vast majority of audio systems, including the most demanding ones, the LA90 offers adjustable gain at two levels. The first, Low Gain, provides a gain of +6.7 dB, and the second, High Gain, provides +19 dB.
Mono and Stereo
Topping LA90 can be configured and connected to operate in stereo or mono, with the combination of two LA90s providing higher power. When used in mono mode, the minimum impedance is 8 ohms.
Volume Control
The LA90’s volume can be adjusted using the large knob on the front panel. It is also possible to bypass the LA90’s volume control to link it to a HiFi preamplifier. The latter is especially useful for synchronizing the volume of two LA90s when used in mono mode.
