The D70 PRO OCTO is equipped with 8 CS43198 DAC chips, which allows it to support PCM audio streams up to 32-bit 768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512.

OCTO D70 Pro has wide system compatibility: Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, Linux, IOS, Android. Just connect it to your audio source and start playing. The USB connector is based on the XMOS XU316 chip and Thesycon’s own driver, so it is very stable.
Outputs include balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA. The D70 PRO OCTO allows you to select an output to send the audio stream to just one of them or to both at the same time.
The D70 PRO OCTO also doubles as a preamplifier as it has a volume control. However, this control can be disabled, and then the D70 PRO OCTO will only be used as a DAC with constant maximum output levels, i.e. 4Vrms for XLR output and 2Vrms for RCA output.
