Taiko Audio, known for its innovative solutions in the field of Hi-Fi audio technology, announced the release of its latest music server – Olympus. This device is the culmination of almost four years of research and development, and incorporates the advanced technologies previously used in the Extreme model.
The Olympus server, positioned as a superior product to the Extreme, offers a number of significant improvements in audio signal processing. For owners of the previous model, a unique solution is available – Olympus I/O, an external upgrade that integrates key Olympus technologies, allowing you to get closer to a new level of performance. Additionally, existing Olympus owners will be able to further enhance their system with the same device, albeit with a less noticeable performance boost.

Taiko Audio engineers specifically noted that Olympus has eliminated many intermediate steps in audio processing, resulting in a more direct and clear signal path. This is achieved through the latest technologies, including highly efficient GaN FET power supplies, patented battery cells with unique control and monitoring via mobile apps, and a rugged hybrid copper-aluminum chassis machined from a single block of metal.
It is important to note that the Olympus is equipped with three rechargeable and two linear power supplies, while the Olympus I/O has two rechargeable and one linear. This solution provides exceptional power stability and quality for unrivaled sound quality. Detailed technical information, recommended prices and availability dates will be announced by the company later.
