The M15 is FiiO ‘s latest portable music player that uses Asahi Kasei Microdevices’ (AKM) latest flagship DAC chip, the AK4499EQ. The new flagship player is equipped with two AK4499EQ DAC chips in True Balanced Configuration to provide better sound quality.
The M15 is the first FiiO player to feature a 4-channel current amplification circuit, powered by a multi-channel power supply system. Thanks to this, the latest portable music player has an astonishing output power of 6.5 Vrms for the 2.5mm and 4.4mm balanced outputs and 3.2Vrms for the 3.5mm Single output, providing unprecedented sound quality ever created by the Chinese manufacturer. to date.
The M15 is equipped with a Hexa-Core processor, 3GB of RAM, a 5.15-inch touchscreen, 64GB of internal memory (ROM), dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GB and 5GB) and offers expandable external memory up to 2 TB via hidden micro SD slot. The flagship device also features an independent XMOS XUF208 control chip that offers lower latency and enables high-resolution PCM audio playback at 32-bit/768kHz, as well as a built-in DSD chip with resolutions up to DSD512.
During the certification phase, the M15 is MQA certified, providing full decoding (8x) of original MQA files, and is also dual-certified for Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio.
