The Chord Electronics Alto headphone and close-range monitoring amplifier is designed for professionals who demand the highest possible audio fidelity. It can drive up to four pairs of headphones, providing an optimal solution for high-definition monitoring.
The Alto delivers 50 watts per channel for close-range monitoring and simultaneously supports all four headphone outputs: one 3.5 mm, one 4.4 mm balanced, and two 6.3 mm on the front panel. The unit is compatible with standard 1U rackmount cabinets and features balanced and unbalanced inputs, as well as balanced XLR outputs for bypassing the signal or connecting external monitoring.
The Alto is suitable for driving near-field monitors and headphones. With Audeze headphones such as the MM-500, it reveals every nuance of the sound. At the heart of the unit is 30 years of Chord innovation, ensuring transparency, power and accuracy.
