DUNU has launched its latest in-ear headphones, the DUNU DK3001BD. This innovative model incorporates a hybrid setup consisting of nine emitters: one dynamic driver, four balanced armature drivers, and four planar magnetic drivers. Their performance is managed by a custom-designed four-way crossover.
The DUNU DK3001BD headphones showcase a striking cyberpunk HyperDream aesthetic. The housings are precision-engineered from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and feature a zirconium ceramic finish in an eye-catching white and orange color combination. These headphones come equipped with both MMCX and 2-pin connectors.
A hybrid system that combines electronic and physical elements guarantees accurate delineation of the emitters’ operating ranges, phase synchronization, and smooth coherence among the drivers. The low-frequency driver is derived from the premium DUNU Glacier model, featuring a composite bio-diaphragm with a flexible suspension designed to deliver powerful and profound bass. Two units equipped with dual armature emitters handle the mid and high frequencies, while four high-performance planar drivers broaden the frequency response into the ultra-high-frequency spectrum.
The DUNU DK3001BD headphones feature a four-core cable constructed with high-purity monocrystalline copper conductors. The cable’s outer damping sheath is crafted from nylon. As previously noted, these headphones are offered in two configurations: one with MMCX connectors and another with 2-pin connectors. Therefore, the choice you make at the time of purchase will determine the type of connectors on the included cable. On the source end, the cable is equipped with DUNU’s patented Q-Lock Mini interchangeable plug system, and the package includes interchangeable plugs—specifically, an asymmetrical 3.5 mm minijack and a balanced Pentaconn 4.4 mm.
The DUNU DK3001BD in-ear headphones can now be purchased at a recommended retail price of $499.99.
