HSE Swiss, located in Switzerland, offers a limited selection of phono amplifiers along with one preamplifier. The RL-7, also known as Referenceline 7, serves as a more compact version of the former flagship model, Masterline 7. This latest RL-7 model includes an integrated preamplifier, which features a variable headphone output and a master volume control.
HSE Swiss products may not be inexpensive, but they are engineered for durability, with a lifespan of at least thirty years, utilizing only the finest handcrafted Swiss components. This is akin to certain Swiss watches, which, while costly, offer exceptional precision and are designed to be passed down through generations.
The RL-7 utilizes the same Zero-Ohm Class A ultra-low noise head amplifiers as the ML-7, ensuring optimal audio performance with minimal noise. The system comprises an audio unit and an external power supply, both housed in champagne-colored cabinets crafted from milled and brushed aluminum featuring anodized printing. The knobs are constructed with precision-matched ALPS Blue Velvet components.
Each unit undergoes a rigorous two-week curing and maturation process to ensure superior sound quality. All key electronic components are meticulously hand-selected and matched, maintaining a maximum variance of just 0.1%. To deliver unparalleled sound quality, only the highest-grade components from industry leaders such as ELMA, Goldpoint, NKK, Panasonic, WIMA, Neutrik, Schurter, and ALPS are utilized. Additionally, the large toroidal transformer is designed with both static and magnetic shielding for enhanced performance.
The impedance selector has been fine-tuned for compatibility with top cartridges from Benz, Lyra, XYZ, and Ortofon. The RL-7 offers an extensive control range, accommodating any alternative cartridge you prefer, regardless of their low output levels.
Details regarding pricing and delivery are still pending.
