German company Dual, having rethought the brand platform of vinyl players using new materials and production methods, presents the automatic player Dual CS 465. The new product has an improved tonearm 211 mm long, which, as stated, has increased the accuracy of tracking the groove of the disc. For this purpose, the cardan bearing unit was improved and a more flexible signal cable was used. “Out of the box” Dual CS 465 is equipped with an MM-cartridge Ortofon 2M Red, working out the frequency range of 20 Hz – 25 kHz.
Dual CS 465 is assembled in an MDF case, in which a mechanically decoupled sub-chassis “floats”, uniting the disk and tonearm. Thus, according to the developers, the influence of external mechanical vibrations is minimized. The rotation control circuit now includes a completely new frequency control system with improved synchronization. It is designed to significantly improve the accuracy of playback.
The player supports the rotation speeds of 33, 45 and 78 rpm with an accuracy of 0.04% WRMS. Dual CS 465 is released in three body finishes: Black structure, Cherry wood, High gloss Black.
